There is a slight chance of showers overnight between 3 am and 5 am, with a 20% chance of precipitation. The northeast breeze will persist at 5 to 10 mph. The first night of Galveston’s Mardi Gras is expected to be cold and breezy, according to FOX 26 Houston.
Saturday afternoon, after 3 pm, will bring showers and possibly a thunderstorm, with an 80% chance of rain by nightfall. Sunday will see continued showers, potential thunderstorms, and a 70% chance of rain, with temperatures reaching near 56 degrees.
Next week, milder south winds and sunshine are expected, with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to upper 70s and a slight chance of rain. Morning fog may affect commuters. The Houston Rodeo will likely experience a spring-like pattern with temperatures in the 70s, though a cool-down may occur by Sunday or late Saturday.
