A tragic incident occurred in Henderson last month, on January 24, when a three-vehicle collision led to a fatality. The accident took place around 3:43 P.M. at the intersection of Bermuda Road and Volunteer Boulevard. The vehicles involved were a black Buick Cascada, a white Chevrolet Corvette, and a red Honda Civic.
As per the City of Henderson release, initial investigations revealed that the Buick attempted to cross the intersection without yielding to the Corvette, causing a collision. Both cars spun, and the Corvette hit the front bumper of the stationary Honda Civic. The drivers of the Buick and Corvette were taken to the hospital, while the Honda driver was unharmed. Yesterday, the driver of the Corvette died from the injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have stated that speed and impairment were not factors in the incident. The victim's identity is being withheld until the Clark County Coroner’s Office notifies the next of kin.
This marks the first traffic-related fatality in Henderson for 2025. The Henderson Police Department is continuing to investigate the collision. The police are asking anyone with information about the accident to come forward. Tips can be provided to the Henderson Police Department or anonymously through Crime Stoppers, which is offering a cash reward for information leading to a felony arrest or indictment in this case.
