The Houston Astros have announced a menu update and they're not just playing with peanuts and Cracker Jack anymore. Partnering with Aramark, Daikin Park is set to introduce a string of new culinary offerings for the 2025 season that are sure to have fans queuing up. Details released by CW39 Houston highlight a list that includes everything from the "Fry-4-3 Double Play" to alligator boudin quesadillas. With the "Fry-4-3 Double Play" stationed in Section 206, the setup offers hot sandwiches with a side of loaded fresh-cut fries. The standalone "Fry-4-3" in Section 420 caters to those with a focus on fries, aiming to provide new flavors for each homestand.
For those with a craving for hearty handhelds, the lineup features a Texas Reuben Sandwich, a Chicken Waffle Sandwich, and a not-to-be-missed "Relentless Beef Sandwich." A new trio of loaded fries – the H-Town Hot Chicken, BBQ Burnt End, and Kimchi Fries – share the spotlight, each priced at $16.89. Branching out, a "Tso Good Chicken Sandwich" and a "Colt .45 Quesabirria" add to the park's 2025 food roster.
In addition to these heavy hitters, the Astros are coupling the culinary experience with an expansive list of beverages. Daikin Park ups the ante with more than 50 wine varieties available for fans who prefer a glass of vino over a cold beer. Those looking for a chill can opt for a selection of frozen drinks that includes a Maui Wowi smoothie, and fans with a penchant for micheladas can now customize their drinks at any draft beer portables throughout the ballpark. Plus, the exclusive "Stros Barrel Select" Maker's Mark Private Select bottle will cater to the more discerning spirits enthusiast.
But food isn't the only thing that's new at Daikin Park this season. The Astros are handing out more than a bobblehead or two. According to the Houston Chronicle, the Astros have detailed the giveaway schedule for early season games with items ranging from a Jeremy Peña retro basketball jersey to an Astros holiday sweater and even Jose Altuve bubblegum bobbleheads. May 10 vs. Reds will see fans scoring a commemorative Jose Altuve Bubblegum Bobblehead and, offering something a bit more stylish, fans attending the May 11 game against the Reds can snag an Astros Throwback Tote Purse.
With the Astros aiming to deliver both on the field and in the stands, it's clear that heading to a game at Daikin Park in 2025 promises to be as much about gourmet indulgence and grabbable goods as it is about baseball. The Astros are doing more than swinging bats this season. They're making sure that whether you're there for the strikeouts or the snacks, you won't be going home empty-handed.
