In Hulmeville, a man has been arrested on charges of sexual exploitation involving the creation of fake online profiles to coax underage girls into sending inappropriate videos, said videos which he then distributed across various social media platforms. Mark William Wills, 60, faces multiple charges, including manufacturing and disseminating child sexual abuse material, possession of child pornography, and unlawful contact with a minor, among others, according to a release from the Bucks County Government.
The U.S. Marshals Service took Wills into custody on February 12th in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where he awaits extradition and is held without bond; the apprehension comes after a joint investigation by Bucks County Detectives and the Warrington Township Police Department. The investigation has unearthed evidence of at least four victims in the U.S. and Canada, but based on the evidence recovered, there's a strong belief there could be several more unidentified victims. District Attorney Jennifer Schorn expressed the troubling increase in such crimes, stating, as per Bucks County, "We have seen at alarming rates individuals like this preying upon our children online, and it’s thanks to the men and women behind me and their counterparts that we are able to apprehend and prosecute individuals like this."
