A vehicle tore through the front steps and porch of a home on the 1500 block of Belmont Avenue in West Philadelphia's Parkside section overnight, smashing into the structure before coming to rest on the front lawn. Crews were still working the scene in the early morning hours, clearing debris and trying to free the car from the wreckage it left behind.
According to NBC10 Philadelphia, cameras captured the aftermath at the scene around 2:30 a.m. Friday, showing the home's concrete porch destroyed and the vehicle lodged against what remained of the structure. The outlet reported that the car ultimately ended up resting on the lawn after plowing through the front steps.

Officials had not immediately determined whether anyone was injured in the crash, per the same account. What led up to the vehicle striking the home also had not been detailed by officials as of the report.
