U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported 32-year-old Mexican national Jesus Alvarez Sinecio on Monday. According to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Alvarez had been deported six times before. He was transferred from the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, Texas, to the Laredo Port of Entry, where he was handed over to Mexican authorities.
Alvarez has illegally entered the United States multiple times over the past decade and has been deported in November 2013, May 2015, May 2018, October 2018, and November 2019. During his time in the U.S. without authorization, he was convicted of several crimes, including aggravated assault of a family member, possession of a firearm as a non-citizen, and driving under the influence. He also has prior offenses for illegal entry and re-entry after deportation, as reported by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations in Houston removed Alvarez, who had repeatedly entered the U.S. illegally and committed serious criminal offenses. Houston Field Office Director Bret Bradford stated, "This criminal alien has repeatedly entered the country illegally for over a decade and then gone on to commit serious criminal offenses which directly threatened public safety." U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement stated that the removal aligns with its mission to enforce immigration laws and focus on individuals with significant criminal histories.
