Hawai'i Island police are searching for a suspect involved in a theft that occurred in Kailua-Kona in late December and are asking the public for help. According to the Hawai'i Police Department, the theft took place on December 29, 2024, shortly after 7 p.m. in the 75-5700 block of Ali'i Drive.

The suspect is described as a young woman, possibly in her early twenties, with a height between 5-foot-3-inches and 5-foot-5-inches and weighing around 130-150 pounds. She is believed to be of local or Hawaiian descent. The woman removed items from a business and left without paying.
