
Las Vegas police recently cracked down on a copper wire theft. On Monday, authorities were called to the 5600 block of Procyon Street, where copper wire was stolen from several breaker boxes, causing damages estimated at $30,000, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). Detectives immediately began investigating the scene.
Three suspects were quickly identified in the grand larceny case, with the theft valued between $25,000 and $100,000, along with additional charges. On Tuesday, officers arrested 45-year-old Paul Andrews, 41-year-old Chad Shurman, and 29-year-old Branden Henry, who were booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The original theft report came in at 5:38 p.m., and police responded quickly, completing the investigation in just a few hours.
