The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported a domestic shooting that resulted in a woman's death yesterday. The incident took place inside a residence located at the 9300 block of Aspen Shadow Street. Upon arrival, officers were met by Paul Moore, 50, who confessed to shooting his girlfriend during an argument, according to a social media post from the department.

Medical personnel summoned to the scene pronounced the woman dead, but her identity remains undisclosed until the Clark County Coroner's Office releases further details. Moore was subsequently arrested and is currently held at the Clark County Detention Center on an open murder charge.
The call to LVMPD Communications came in at approximately 4:13 a.m., quickly mobilizing both patrol officers and homicide detectives to address the grim situation. The LVMPD's statement explains that homicide detectives responded and took over the investigation. They determined that the argument between Moore and the victim escalated, culminating in the fatal shooting.
