At approximately 1:52 AM, firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 1044 E Nowita Pl. According to LAFD's incident alert, a two-story single-family dwelling caught fire, with flames notably present at the rear balcony before making their way inside.
The LAFD team, comprised of 33 firefighters, swiftly tackled the fire, extinguishing it within a mere 16 minutes. The alert from LAFD confirmed that "No injuries reported," marking a fortunate end to what could have been a tragic incident. The site of the fire falls under the jurisdiction of Council District 11, with multiple companies, including FS 63, Batt 4, and West Bureau, working in concert to douse the flames. Fire trucks and emergency vehicles from stations such as E63, E62, and E67 were among the responders that played a crucial role.
