In an ending that has provided relief to many, authorities confirmed yesterday that Ms. Gloria Wright, who had been reported missing earlier this week, has been found safe. The announcement was brief and to the point: Ms. Wright has been located and is no longer considered a missing person.
Earlier concerns for Ms. Wright had prompted a call to action from Dallas authorities. Aged 74, described as having gray hair and brown eyes, and often seen sporting a brown wig, Ms. Wright was reported missing after being last observed on Wednesday. The senior, who typically weighed about 98 lbs and stood around 5 feet tall, was last seen in the evening hours, around 6:40 pm, on the 7200 block of Blackwillow Lane, wearing a gray hoodie, khaki pants, and furry boots.
According to the Dallas Police Department, while safely located, the details surrounding her disappearance and discovery have not been disclosed.
