
Authorities are on the lookout for two suspects involved in a violent robbery that took place in the Bronx earlier this week. The NYPD Crimestoppers shared a plea for information regarding the assault and theft that occurred within the Kingsbridge Road Train Station. According to their report, in the early hours of Sunday morning around 12:41 a.m., a 43-year-old man was approached, assaulted, and robbed by two unidentified males.
The victim, who suffered multiple punches to the face that knocked him to the ground, was forcibly deprived of his possessions during the incident. The New York Police Department's 52nd Precinct is spearheading the investigation and has publicized the offer of a reward up to $3,500 for information that could lead to the arrest and indictment of the responsible individuals. While the details are scant, the appeal for public assistance was disseminated earlier today.
In an effort to engage the community's help, the NYPD Crimestoppers made the incident known through a Facebook post, which outlined the basic facts of the case and provided a hotline for tips. The post implored, "WANTED-ROBBERY: On Sunday 02/02/25 NYPD 52 Precinct at approximately 12:41 AM, inside the Kingsbridge Road Train Station, two unidentified males approached a 43-year-old male victim and punched him in the face multiple times causing him to fall to the ground." It further noted that the assailants, "then forcibly removed the victim’s property."
