On May 14, 2022, a man was shot multiple times and later died from his injuries on West Estaugh Street. The victim was last seen on video with another male, who is a key person in the investigation. Authorities are trying to identify this individual, who was seen walking away from the Hoagie City store at 2222 W. Hunting Park Avenue and later appeared in the 3400 block of North 21st Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department release.
To help solve this case, the City of Philadelphia has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in any homicide case. The Philadelphia Police Department encourages anyone with information to come forward, assuring that anonymity will be kept for tips submitted electronically or by phone. All tips will be kept confidential.
To gather more evidence, the police have released surveillance footage without audio on their official YouTube channel. They have warned the public not to approach the suspect, but to report sightings to authorities by calling 911.
