Those who typically visit the 27th Ave. and North Gateway transfer stations will need to make alternative plans, as these facilities will close on February 17. Residents looking to access library services or return materials on the holiday should be aware that all Phoenix Public Library locations will be closed on February 17. However, digital resources will remain available. Additionally, the library's book drops will be open 24/7 for returns, ensuring continued access for patrons.
City parks and trails will remain open during regular hours on Presidents' Day, while Parks and Recreation Facilities, including community centers, will be closed. The S'edav Va'aki Museum will be open as an alternative for visitors. Public transit will follow the usual weekday schedule, although express and RAPID services will not operate, and certain transit centers will be closed.
