The Folsom Police Department has reported that an arrest has been made in connection to a series of indecent exposure incidents that targeted minors in the Folsom area. In a social media post, they detailed several occasions where a male suspect exposed himself to children, the details of which are unsettling in their brazen nature. The suspect, identified as Luis Alonso Hernandez, a 46-year-old resident of Rancho Cordova, was apprehended following a tip from a vigilant community member.

According to the Folsom Police Department's statement on Facebook, the first reported incident occurred on January 15, when a male in a white Honda Civic exposed himself to two juveniles on Natoma Station Drive. Following this, two more juveniles on January 25 were subjected to a similar harrowing experience while playing at a playground on Duchow Way. The police linked these events through descriptions of the suspect and the vehicle, which was captured on security video during the incidents.

Further reports emerged last Saturday, with a juvenile witnessing indecent exposure by a male, driving the same white Honda, in an apartment complex on Sibley Street. That same day, an adult resident in the 1100 block of Duchow Way observed the suspect engaging in inappropriate behavior and notified authorities. When the police responded to the alert from the 500 block of E. Bidwell Street, they located Hernandez and made the arrest.

Hernandez, caught behind a business close to the scenes of the crime, is now facing multiple charges. The charges against him include multiple counts of indecent exposure and annoying/molesting a minor. "Officers placed Luis Alonso Hernandez (46, Rancho Cordova) under arrest for multiple counts of indecent exposure and annoying/molesting a minor," the Folsom Police Department stated. Hernandez was booked at the Sacramento County Jail, where his bail has been set at $100,000. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who may have been victimized by Hernandez to come forward and have provided a contact number for the Folsom Police Department Communications Center at 916-355-7231.

Meanwhile, the ongoing investigation hints at the potential of additional victims, and the Folsom Police Department remains steadfast in its call for any other individuals who might recognize Hernandez as a perpetrator to reach out.
