On Sunday at approximately 1:15 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of a shooting on the 2000 block of Stone Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Taylor Burton of Saginaw suffering from gunshot wounds, as reported by ABC12.
An ambulance swiftly transported Burton to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. As of yesterday morning, the investigators have not arrested or released information regarding a suspect. MLive detailed that Burton was located by officers who attempted life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived, highlighting a community grasping for answers and justice in an ever-recurring narrative of violence.
The Saginaw Police, in conjunction with Michigan State Police detectives, continue their inquiry into the shooting that claimed Burton's life.
