As we head into the evening, there may be some patchy drizzle particularly, between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., coupled with patchy fog after 11 p.m. The temperature is predicted to hover around 50 degrees as the east-southeast wind settles down.
The weekend is set to bring further changes, starting with Saturday morning fog before skies start clearing to reveal higher temperatures around 78 degrees. A gentle south-southwest wind in the morning will switch to the west in the afternoon. However, by Saturday night, the wind direction will change again, blowing from the west and gusting as much as 25 mph, while temperatures drop to a cooler 42 degrees. Sunday will bring sunshine and a high near 59, the National Weather Service reports, with continued gusty winds from the north.
Monday, which marks Washington's Birthday, is forecasted to be mostly sunny with a high around 63 degrees, with a calm wind turning south southeast in the afternoon. The evening could bring an increase in cloud cover and a low near 51 degrees. The possibility of showers returns on Tuesday with a 20 percent chance afternoon and mostly cloudy skies, while temperatures are likely to peak at around 67 degrees.
It looks like the weather will be mostly clear mid-week, with a small chance of rain on Wednesday. Expect partly sunny skies with a high of around 45°F and a chilly low of 23°F at night. Thursday will be sunny and warmer, with a high of 51°F.
