The Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station, along with the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team, took charge of the investigation, which swiftly uncovered the identity of one suspect, Richard White, a 34-year-old local from Desert Hot Springs who was arrested on January 12, the team later identified 24-year-old Tyshawn Head as a fellow conspirator, ensuring his arrest on Tuesday, February 18, both were charged with first-degree burglary, grand theft auto and identity theft in connection with the case, as detailed by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
