The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department recently announced that Deputies Bryant and Schmidt were honored for completing the Drug Evaluation & Classification Program, earning them certification as Drug Recognition Experts. The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department shared the news on their social media, praising the deputies for their commitment to road safety in Waukesha County.
The certification was granted following the Wisconsin Traffic Safety Officer’s Association conference on Wednesday. The Drug Recognition Experts program is part of the broader International Drug Evaluation and Classification Program, which is managed by the International Association of Chiefs of Police and supported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, as reported by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.
"Congratulations to Deputies Bryant and Schmidt for their hard work in keeping Waukesha County's roads safe from impaired drivers," said the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department on Facebok post.
