Last Saturday morning, a tragic shooting occurred in Las Vegas, according to LVMPD. Officials report that around 2:34 a.m., a woman was found shot to death inside a vehicle on the 400 block of 11th Street. EMTs arrived to find her with multiple gunshot wounds and declared her deceased at the scene.
LVMPD Homicide detectives have shared initial findings in the case. Two men were seen walking past the victim and her friend in their parked vehicle just before the shots were fired, hitting the victim, as reported by LVMPD. The shooters have not been apprehended, and the motive for the crime has yet to be unveiled.
Authorities are awaiting the Clark County Coroner’s Office to release the identity of the victim, alongside the formal cause and manner of her death, making the investigation more complex as family and community members seek closure. LVMPD urges anyone with information to come forward.
