A violent altercation erupted on a northbound subway train in Manhattan earlier this month, leaving a 69-year-old woman with facial injuries. According to police, the incident occurred on March 6, around 1:40 p.m., at the Delancey Street station with the suspect and the victim getting into an argument that quickly escalated, PIX11 News reported.

During the dispute, the assailant reportedly struck the older woman multiple times in the face causing her bruising and swelling, she fled the scene before authorities arrived, and authorities are now seeking the public's assistance in locating the suspect. Eyewitnesses described her as having short blonde hair, and she was last seen adorned in black glasses, a beige jacket, a green shirt, black leggings, white socks, and black shoes, as NY Daily News detailed the suspect's appearance.
