Another gun store robbery in Allegheny County has law enforcement on the heels of suspects who allegedly stole a trove of firearms on Monday morning. According to a report by CBS News, the break-in at Keystone Shooting Center in Marshall Township triggered an alarm at 5:44 a.m., originally thought to be false. However, the manager discovered a smashed window and missing firearms, including 20 handguns, six semi-automatic rifles, and two suppressors.

In their pursuit to quickly follow up on leads, authorities have taken two individuals into custody, one adult and one teenager. Police also responded to a security alarm where they found intruders had smashed their way into the store, per WTAE's coverage. Plans for an additional burglary at an Allegheny County gun store were uncovered soon after, while six of the stolen guns have reportedly been recovered.

A string of similar burglaries has been unsettling the region, with a recent incident in Bethel Park and another just outside of Youngstown, Ohio. In a discussion with CBS News, "It's troubling," said Tom Westfall. "It just seems there's no way that anyone is able to stop it. They just keep doing it because they are not getting caught and they just keep bolder and bolder." The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is investigating the case and investigating potential connections with these other incidents.
