According to the National Weather Service, the region will enjoy a sunny day with highs around 65 degrees and a light north wind on the afternoon of March 18. Come nightfall, the skies will remain clear, and the temperature is expected to drop to a comfortable 46 degrees.
Wednesday will carry over the pleasant weather, sustaining mostly sunny conditions and a high near 71 degrees, with light winds ushering in from the southeast. As evening approaches, locals should anticipate a shift, as the almost clear skies give way to partly cloudy coverage and a low of around 48 degrees, coupled with the southeast wind bustling up to 20 mph in gusts.
The serene stretch, however, will experience a turn on Thursday as showers are forecasted to set in after 2 pm, dominating the scene with a high chance of precipitation pegged at 80%. "Showers, mainly after 2 pm. High near 68. South wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph," details the forecast from the National Weather Service. Thursday night won’t escape the rain either, with early evening showers expected before tapering off around 8 pm.
Friday will offer a respite as the skies clear up again and the sun reasserts its presence, heralding a high near 57 and breezy conditions. The night follows with partly cloudy skies and a low of around 42. Moving into the weekend, Baltimoreans can expect partly sunny days with comfortable highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid-40s before the forecast hints at another round of showers come Sunday night through Monday, with a 60% chance of precipitation to start the new week.
