This day is set aside to honor the memory of the ten souls who were lost in a mass shooting on March 22, 2021, including a Boulder police officer. Reflecting on the tragedy, Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett shared, "March 22 will always be a day for reflection in Boulder. It will always be a day to remember the lives that were cut short and to support those who lost their loved ones far too soon," as per City of Boulder.

It will be hosted at The Museum of Boulder on 2205 Broadway, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. The city, alongside the District Attorney's Office, the Museum of Boulder, and Clinica Family Health & Wellness are coordinating the event to ensure it provides a supportive space for all attendees. The event, which is free and open to the public serves not only as a commemoration but also as a testament to the city's resilience.
