The latest update from the City of Carrollton, which provided updates on progress, noted that "Trash/Recycling Collections" for Friday routes were proceeding as planned. For "Bulk Collections," the Thursday routes were reported to be 40% complete. In a simultaneous effort, the "Brush/Storm Debris Collection" for Tuesday routes was reaching a 75% completion mark.
According to city communications, Republic Services has made headway with previous bulk collection routes and is navigating new ones as the workload demands. Monday routes were completed on March 24, while Tuesday routes began on March 26. The updates reflect an ongoing team effort between CrowderGulf, which handles storm debris collection, and Republic Services, which is tasked with bulk waste management.
Additionally, the city is offering residents the opportunity to self-drop off storm debris at Camelot Landfill, with the municipal government covering the cost for up to three cubic yards tomorrow—a move designed to help hasten the cleanup process and alleviate the strain on collection services.
