
Residents of Charlotte County looking to engage with local governance and infrastructure planning have a series of meetings to mark on their calendars for the week of Monday. The Charlotte County Government has announced its schedule for public meetings, starting with the County Commission Pre-Agenda on Monday, at 9 a.m. at the Charlotte County Administration Center.
The following day, Tuesday, will see the County Commission Regular and Land Use Meeting, occurring at the same venue, offering residents the opportunity to stay informed and to quickly weigh in on land use matters. According to the announcement by Charlotte County made public today, these sessions will be held in Room 119 at the County Administration Center.
The midweek meeting brings specific attention to the Gardens of Gulf Cove with the Street & Drainage MSBU Advisory Board set to convene next Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex. Local residents concerned with the upkeep and improvement of streets and drainage systems within the community may benefit from voicing their opinions and learning about ongoing and upcoming projects.
Continuing the focus on local infrastructure, Thursday, March 27, is slated for two meetings. The Rotonda West Street & Drainage MSBU Advisory Board will gather, also at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex, at 9:30 a.m. Later the same day, at 3 p.m., the ‘One Charlotte, One Water’ meeting encourages discussions to potentially further regional water sustainability projects. This meeting will be hosted at the Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Recreation Center, as outlined in the published Charlotte County government calendar.
