
In Chester County, an extensive manhunt is underway for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office. Earlier today, the Chester County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of an armed robbery and are now in pursuit of the individual who is deemed armed and dangerous. Residents have been advised to secure their doors while the search is active. According to WSOC-TV, the suspect fled the scene following the incident.
The sheriff’s department has employed the use of both K-9 officers and a drone to meticulously track the suspect, last seen wearing a black hoodie. Despite the heightened sense of urgency in their search, details on the suspect's whereabouts remain elusive. "He is considered armed and dangerous," explained officials in a report by WCNC.
Adding to the available resources in the search, the Sheriff’s office has brought in its drone and a bloodhound tracking team to assist. Efforts to locate the individual have been challenged by the limited description currently available to law enforcement. The suspect is described as a black man with a goatee, wearing a black hoodie. Local news outlet WCCB Charlotte detailed that officials urge residents to remain vigilant and to immediately call 911 if they spot anything suspicious or out of the ordinary.
