The City of Englewood's Community Development Department is opening registration for its free Citizens Planning School (CPS), a program aimed at demystifying city planning for residents, neighborhood leaders, business owners, and those eyeing a future on boards and commissions.
The Community Development Department is inviting anyone with a stake in Englewood's future to come to learn and to engage directly with industry experts. Starting April 17, the spring session of CPS will spend five Thursdays breaking down the planning process. These sessions, running from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., aspire to thoroughly educate participants. But beware, space is limited, interested parties should register early to snag a spot, according to the City of Englewood.
The CPS curriculum is no walk in the park, expect serious discussion mixed with real insight. As obtained by the City of Englewood, these discussions will be "interactive" and will cover "a range of key topics." So for those poised to take part, anticipate to be a part of conversations that could very well form the blueprint of Englewood's future development.
