Three siblings were arrested early this morning in west Harris County after an alleged attempt to kill their mother over a Wi-Fi dispute, as reported by KHOU. The teenagers, aged 14, 15, and 16, are accused of coordinating an attack on their mother at their Barkers Crossing Avenue home, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

In what appears to KHOU, deputies responded to the household disturbance to find the woman had been assaulted using kitchen knives and a brick. The sheriff indicated the teens became upset after their mother had the Wi-Fi turned off, which then escalated into a violent confrontation. The children's grandmother was also knocked over while attempting to intervene and protect the mother.

Charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon have been leveled against all three teenagers, who were taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. Both the mother and grandmother did not suffer serious injuries in the incident, as per Sheriff Gonzalez's statements.

"Because the mother turned off the wi-fi, all three grabbed kitchen knives and chased her throughout the house and into the street, attempting to stab her," Sheriff Gonzalez said. "The mother was struck with a brick. In the process, the grandmother was knocked over while trying to protect the mother. No serious injuries were sustained by either adult female," as stated in a post obtained by KPRC 2. The names of the juveniles have not been released, and the investigation into this incident is ongoing. More information is expected to be released as the case develops.
