Wilmington has experienced a series of thefts at All Saints Cemetery on Kirkwood Highway, where bronze ceremonial vases were stolen from gravestones. Delaware State Police report that nearly 200 vases were taken between September and November of last year, with the stolen property valued over $100,000.
Following an investigation, three suspects—Thomas Hudson, Ashley Newcomb, and Alonza Mosley—were arrested last month at a Newark residence. The fourth and final suspect, Mark Worley, turned himself in yesterday, after multiple attempts to locate him.
Worley faces several charges, including theft of property over $100,000, multiple counts of selling stolen goods, conspiracy, theft from a cemetery, criminal impersonation, and criminal trespass. After surrendering, he was processed at Troop 2 and is now held at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, awaiting further legal proceedings. His bond was set at $68,100.
