
Los Angeles law enforcement officials are currently on the lookout for two suspects following a brazen heist that took place at a Target in West Hills. In the early hours of Thursday, as reported by NBC Los Angeles, two individuals clad in all-black apparel broke into the store located at Victory Boulevard and Fallbrook Avenue using a powerful explosive device to access cash within an ATM, authorities are now searching for at least two individuals connected with the theft.
Significant damage to the front glass doors and interior of the store was evident, and the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the incident shortly after the suspects had fled from the 6600 Block of Fallbrook Avenue. The CBS News Los Angeles report also emphasized the early arrival of the bomb squad, who conducted a post-blast investigation around 4:58 a.m. to ensure the area was secure.
Although the suspects remain unidentified and the total sum of stolen money undisclosed, the LAPD together with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are diligently working on the case, according to ABC7. They are currently collaborating in the investigation to better understand the extent of the event and the technologies deployed by the culprits.
