Long Beach Airport (LGB) has launched a new flight planning tool designed to make life easier for travelers, named the FlyMyAirport search tool, now available on the LGB website. It aims to streamline the process of finding both nonstop and connecting flights in and out of the airport. According to a recent press release by the City of Long Beach, Mayor Rex Richardson highlighted that the tool enhances LGB's accessibility, stating, "This dynamic tool on Long Beach Airport’s website will help travelers see all the available flight options for coming into and out of our award-winning Airport."

The airport has partnered with KAYAK and Airport One, LLC to bring this feature to fruition. This collaboration powers the new online search functionality, which is aimed to aid passengers in their travel preparations by comparing flights and discovering special deals on travel packages that might include options like hotels and rental cars. LGB's current roster lists nonstop flights to 23 airports across the United States and offers one-stop service to nearly 400 cities worldwide. Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Southwest Airlines are among those providing these extensive connections, which have now been made more transparent with the FlyMyAirport search tool.

With a stance of promoting ease and avoiding the usual airport stress, LGB prides itself on a relaxed ambiance and quick curb-to-gate access which might persuade the average traveler to opt for LGB even when their route includes a connecting flight, as Airport Director Cynthia Guidry stated, "This new search function makes it easier than ever for travelers to efficiently plan their journeys from LGB to almost anywhere, not just to the nonstop destinations offered by our major air carriers." Notably, Long Beach Airport has earned the official moniker of America's Coolest Airport™, reflecting its commitment to a high-caliber customer experience, centrally nestled between Los Angeles and Orange counties.
