The search commenced after Moyer's family received letters that raised concerns about his well-being. According to a Facebook post by the Maui Police Department, investigations at Moyer's home revealed no indication of his presence, and efforts to contact him through his cell phone have been unsuccessful.
Family members last saw Moyer last Wednesday, around noon. Moyer, who is Caucasian and stands at 5-foot-9 with a weight of about 150 pounds, possesses grey hair and brown eyes. Specifics on the attire he was wearing when last seen are currently unknown. He is also known to drive a blue-colored 1993 Chevy Blazer with the license plate MZC 434.
Authorities are requesting anyone with information regarding Terry Moyer's whereabouts to come forward.
