The first reported entry occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. on 8th Street, Southeast, where individuals gained entry into a business and removed money and property. Twelve minutes later, a second business on 15th Street, Northeast, was similarly targeted. The incidents continued around 3:00 a.m., when another business on Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast, was also burglarized.

Surveillance cameras managed to capture images of the suspects, with the police urging anyone with information on these individuals to contact them. The MPD is offering a reward up to $1,000 for details that can lead to an arrest and indictment in these cases. The reference numbers for the incidents are CCN: 25030523, CCN: 25030522, and CCN: 25030807 respectively for each burglary location.

Community members possessing any information are advised to "take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411," as quoted from the MPD release.
