The Philadelphia Police Department has issued a call for assistance to the public in the search for Gazzela Greenwald, a 16-year-old girl reported missing from the city's 8th District. According to a Philadelphia Police Department release, Gazzela was last seen last Tuesday, around the 35xx block of Glenn Street.
There was also a confirmed sighting of Gazzela two days later, last Thursday, in the Philadelphia Mills shopping area. She is notable for her blue eyes and very thin build. Since her disappearance, she has dyed her hair jet-black. On the day she was last seen, Gazzela was wearing a distinctive black half shirt, leopard print pants, and black frame glasses.
Her physical description includes being approximately 5’3” in height and weighing around 120 lbs. The change to jet-black hair might be a deliberate attempt to alter her appearance, hinting at the complications in tracing her whereabouts. The police have shared a photograph of Gazzela with her newly dyed black hair in the public plea for information.
