
The Plymouth Police Department recently shared a weeklong glimpse into their routine activities on social media, offering the public a transparent view of the incidents they responded to between March 16 and March 22. According to their Facebook post, the department managed a total of 618 incidents, which included 11 arrests and 17 criminal complaints.
The update, which exemplifies an effort to maintain community trust and transparency, details a diverse set of calls that came through over the week. Officers tackled 20 motor vehicle accidents, made 58 traffic stops, and responded to 29 house and building alarms.
Problems more serene in nature included helping out with 69 medical/mental/wellbeing checks and fielding 39 accidental 911 calls – highlighting the more mundane, yet vital facets of their everyday work. "Thank you to our officers for their dedication and to our community for your support! Stay safe, Plymouth!" the department expressed in the post.
