
A San Antonio police officer shot and killed a 27-year-old man after he allegedly attacked her with a machete while she was responding to an assault call last Sunday. The incident took place at a home near Tahoka Blvd and Julia Pl, where the man was reportedly assaulting his girlfriend. Police Chief William McManus stated, "The officer got to the door. The suspect opened it up a little bit. Wouldn't open it any further. The officer pushed it open. He fell back on the bed, grabbed the machete, started to get up, the officer shot him," according to Fox San Antonio.
