
Early Tuesday morning, a collision occurred on the southeast side of San Antonio when a driver ran a red light, involving an East Central ISD school bus. The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 3600 block of South WW White Road. The bus ended up in a ditch, as confirmed by an East Central ISD spokesman, as reported by KENS 5.
District officials confirmed that no students were on the bus during the accident, and "The bus driver was not injured," according to KENS 5. The crash involved multiple vehicles and is under investigation. Traffic was disrupted in the area of South WW White Road near Southeast Military Drive, as per FOX San Antonio.
"No one was taken to the hospital as a result of this accident," as mentioned by KENS 5. The incident remains under investigation, and cleanup efforts are ongoing.
