A San Bernardino man is facing serious charges after being arrested on allegations of sexually assaulting two teenage girls. Miguel Rosales, 32, was taken into custody by San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department deputies as he was leaving his home on the 1700 block of 11th Street, according to KTLA.
The investigation began on February 12 when deputies received tips about Rosales' alleged criminal activities. It eventually led to finding two female victims, aged 15 and 16, who reportedly suffered sexual assaults at the hands of Rosales in his residence. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department stated that he faces charges for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor and his bail has been set at $500,000.
Detectives are concerned that there might be more victims who have yet to come forward. In a bid to identify potential additional victims, the sheriff’s department has released Rosales' booking photo, encouraging anyone with relevant information to reach out. The public can contact the Fontana Sheriff’s Station directly, or provide anonymous tips through the We-Tip hotline or on their website.
