
Authorities are searching for two individuals involved in a disturbing incident of hate in Queens, New York. According to NY Daily News, last Tuesday around 7:20 p.m., two men were seen hanging a noose from a water tower before taking a photograph of their act on Northern Blvd. near 82nd St. in Jackson Heights.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident as a possible bias crime. This troubling act of intimidation and racism has drawn the attention of both the local community and law enforcement. To assist in identifying and locating the suspects, the NYPD has released surveillance footage and is requesting public help.

The incident was reported to the 115th Precinct and has since escalated to an investigation by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force.
