Seattle police officers made a substantial arrest in the Belltown neighborhood this morning, halting what appears to be a one-man drug distribution operation. On the scene in the 200 block of Blanchard Street, officers who were conducting a narcotics operation witnessed a 44-year-old man dealing drugs openly. According to the SPD Blotter, the arrest took place at about 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, as patrol officers executed their operation. The officers' search yielded 8.7 grams of crack cocaine, 24.6 grams of methamphetamine, 2.5 grams cocaine, and 0.2 grams of heroin, in addition to $1,425 in cash and a semi-auto pistol.

The suspect, a convicted felon, is now facing charges for Sale/Delivery of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Heroin and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. His past is also marred by a $25,000 warrant for Residential Burglary, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Animal Cruelty, and Court Order Violation. Following the arrest, he was booked into King County Jail, where he is currently being held.

As the investigation continues, the Narcotics Unit will be assigned to further handle the case, which has been officially filed under Incident Number 2025-66620.
