The suspect, identified as Cameron Perry, was discovered by authorities on the 28400 block of the Northwest Freeway on Monday, after being reported as a suspicious individual in the area.

Upon arrival, deputies were able to confirm Perry's identity and learned of an open warrant for his arrest due to a prior evading arrest charge, during their interaction it emerged that Perry, already with a record as a convicted felon, was holding multiple stolen personal checks amounting to a total value of over $15,000. In addition to the checks, Perry was also found in possession of various pieces of mail not belonging to him.

"Cameron Perry was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information," as stated by Constable Mark Herman's office. Perry's total bond was set at $3,110.00 by the courts, specifically out of the 182nd District Court and County Court 4.
