
Three young men were wounded in a shooting incident on the 300 Block W Clara St in Oxnard, details of which were released by the Oxnard Police Department. According to their news release, the victims included a 19-year-old male and two 15-year-old males, all residents of Oxnard.
On Tuesday evening, officers responded to a call at Southwinds Park and found the 19-year-old with a gunshot wound to the leg, following this initial discovery the wounded teenager alerted the officers to the two younger victims found in an alley with multiple gunshots, although thankfully, all of the injuries sustained were considered non-life-threatening.
Evidence pertinent to the shooting was collected at the scene but the suspects remain unidentified and the motive behind the incident is still unclear.
