The St. Petersburg Police Department has escalated its search for Allister Samer Nasr, a 17-year-old teen last seen last Saturday, after uncovering a distressing note that indicates he may be in danger. According to a social media post from the St. Petersburg Police Department, the note was discovered by family members earlier today, prompting an urgent public appeal for assistance in locating the teen, who was last seen near the 6500 block of Bayou Grande Blvd. NE.
Allister is described as wearing blue shorts, a gray sweatshirt and white shoes, and was spotted riding a white Beach Cruiser bicycle. His appearance was last confirmed at around 10 a.m. on the day he went missing. The St. Petersburg Police have now classified Allister as an endangered missing teen, which reflects a grave concern for his well-being, suggesting that he might harm himself. "It's important that we find Allister as soon as possible," a department spokesperson emphasized in the post.
The initial notification, released on March 2nd, sought the community's help in locating Allister, but the updated status indicates a far more serious situation. The police are urging anyone with information to get in touch immediately. Tips can be submitted by calling the St. Petersburg Police at (727) 893-7780 or by sending a text message with the prefix SPPD plus the relevant information to TIP411.
As the search continues, the community holds out hope for a safe return and underscores the urgency of any information that could lead to Allister's whereabouts. "Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call St. Petersburg Police," the department's plea continues, underscoring the immediate nature of this developing situation.
