Matsumoto a senior at Lamar High School, was honored as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for April 2025. His determination and leadership not only earned him this recognition but also the Viking Fight Never Dies award from his school.
Leading the Vikings as a captain, Matsumoto's performance is known to escalate when the stakes are high.
