Dearborn is gearing up for a blast from the past mixed with contemporary harmony for its annual Homecoming Festival in 2025. In a move that will tickle the fancy of both '90s rock aficionados and roots music buffs, the city recently announced Third Eye Blind and The War and Treaty as the headliners for the upcoming summer bash. Both acts promise to bring their distinctive sounds to Ford Field Park, located at 22051 Cherry Hill Rd., from Friday, Aug. 1, to Sunday, Aug. 3.
The Third Eye Blind is set to close out the festival on Sunday, Aug. 3, with a performance starting at 8:45 p.m., where fans can expect a mix of nostalgia and recent cuts from their latest outings. Before the dust settles, the festival’s Saturday night will resonate with The War and Treaty's blend of soulful country music, also kicking off at 8:45 p.m. In a lineup revealed by the city, other musical guests include indie rock darlings Tigers Jaw, as well as a host of regional and local talents such as Stoop Lee, Low Phase, and the Julianne Ankley Band, according to the City of Dearborn's announcement.
With performances spread across two stages – the Sunset Stage and the Sunrise Stage – the festival not only highlights the stars but also gives a boost to the up-and-coming Michigan music scene alongside heritage-based performers. This year's festival, as detailed on the Dearborn Homecoming website, includes more than just music. Attendees can also enjoy a Vendor Village, Kids Stage, Food Truck Corridor, and various other activities.
