Denverites can look forward to a week of sunny skies and temperatures climbing into the 70s, according to the National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, CO. The forecast promises fair weather with highs of 68°F today and up to a balmy 83°F by Saturday. However, dropping down to a comfy 43°F at night isn't expected to be too harsh, maintaining decent conditions for those late walks under the starry Mile High City sky, according to the National Weather Service.

As the week progresses, Denver will not only bask under the sun but also in above-normal temperatures. Tuesday's high is anticipated to be at a comfortable 74°F with a light breeze, while Wednesday's temperature is expected to slightly drop to approximately 70°F. Thursday and Friday will continue the trend with sunny conditions and highs near 67°F and 79°F, respectively. These warm and dry conditions have prompted the NWS to flag potential elevated fire weather conditions for parts of the plains and southern foothills to possibly emerge as early as Tuesday.

The NWS stated in a statement that "no hazardous weather expected today or tonight." This relief to the Denver community, which will undoubtedly take advantage of the clear skies and comfortable temperatures. The slight chance of showers in the forecast seems to be confined primarily to the mountain areas on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Looking towards the weekend, the upward trend in temperature is set to continue quickly. It will peak on Saturday with a high near 83°F before slightly cooling off to a high of around 77°F on Sunday. The National Weather Service's Hazardous Weather Outlook reports that with warm and dry conditions in place, there will be areas of elevated fire weather conditions possible over portions of the plains and southern foothills on Tuesday and Wednesday, spreading to include South Park on Thursday through Saturday.
