Perryman was described at the time she went missing as approximately 5'3" in height, weighing 198 pounds, with black and brown hair, and brown eyes. She was last spotted wearing a red and black sweatshirt, red shorts, and black 'Crocs'. The gravity of her disappearance is not lost on the community and authorities alike, who are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A post from the Detroit Police Department's Missing implores the public, "Please help us find missing Kayala Perryman.
