A family gathering took a violent turn this past weekend near the heart of the city. According to Fox San Antonio, a celebration on Delaware Street and South Olive Street ended in chaos and bloodshed, leaving one man fighting for his life and another wounded.
As attendees were saying their goodbyes around 11:40 p.m. on Friday, a dispute broke out that led to one of the guests brandishing a knife and stabbing two others. Following the incident and still on the hunt for the suspect, police combed the area to no avail. While searching for the suspect, News 4 San Antonio reported that the police thoroughly searched the nearby vicinity.
The critically injured victim was quickly taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The other victim, who sustained minor injuries, was not mentioned as requiring hospitalization.
