
Four individuals have been injured following a collision on Saturday between an Amish horse-drawn buggy and a pickup truck in Michigan's Delta County, as reported by ClickOnDetroit. The Delta County deputies were called to the scene at 3:28 p.m. near the intersection of 18th Road and H.25 Road in the Riverland area after a truck struck the eastbound buggy, causing injury to all four female passengers inside.
As of Sunday, the sheriff's office, according to details from Upper Michigan's Source, confirmed that one of the injured passengers had been released from the hospital, while two remain in critical condition and another is stable, while the male truck driver emerged without injury, this incident has brought to light the dangers that can arise when modern vehicles share the roads with traditional Amish transportation.
